My Dive Logs

Support

MyDiveLogs is made by one person. Write to support@mydivelogs.com and it reaches me directly.

Reporting a bug

The more of this you can include, the faster it gets fixed:

  • What you did, and what happened instead of what you expected.
  • Which screen you were on.
  • Your iPhone model and iOS version, and the app version from App Settings.
  • A screenshot, if the problem is something you can see.

If you are running a TestFlight build, the fastest route is to take a screenshot and share it straight to TestFlight — it attaches your device details and the app version automatically.

Common questions

My dives aren't appearing on the website

Your logbook is stored on your phone first and synced afterwards, so it keeps working without a signal. Check that you are signed in under Settings → Profile, and that it doesn't say anything is waiting to sync. If it is stuck, tell me what the status line says.

Can I get my logbook out?

Yes, completely. App Settings has a CSV export that includes everything — every dive, and the imported depth profiles, heart rate and dive computer data alongside them. It re-imports into the app without losing anything, and opens in any spreadsheet.

Can I import from my dive computer?

Garmin dive computers export a .fit file from the Garmin Dive app — share it to MyDiveLogs and it imports with the full profile. CSV exports from other logbooks also import.

How do I delete my account?

Settings → Profile in the app, or the Profile page on this website. It deletes everything immediately and completely — see the privacy policy for exactly what goes.

Use the "Forgot your password?" link on the sign-in page.

Safety

MyDiveLogs records dives you have already done. It is not a dive computer and must not be used to plan a dive or make a decision underwater — see the terms.
